Payment API

The Stablepay Payment API is a RESTful platform for integrating stablecoin-to-local-currency payment rails into existing financial products. Partners can initiate stablecoin payments that settle instantly in local fiat via African mobile money (MoMo) ecosystems, including M-Pesa and other MNO providers.

Core API capabilities include:

• POST Create Payment — Initiates a stablecoin payment to a MoMo or bank account
• GET Get Payment Status — Retrieves real-time payment status
• POST Validate MoMo/Bank Account — Pre-validates recipient accounts before settlement
• GET Get FX Rate — Fetches live stablecoin-to-fiat exchange rates

All endpoints are secured via API key (Bearer token authentication). Multi-language SDK environments are available upon provisioning.

Stablepay Credential

The Stablepay Credential is an on-chain identity and wallet addressing layer that replaces complex blockchain addresses with human-readable Stablepay IDs. This enables simple peer-to-peer USDC transfers that mirror the familiar UX of mobile money and remittance apps.
