By using Web3Connect, you agree to follow these guidelines and help us maintain a professional environment.

1. Core Principles

We are a B2B platform. All interactions should reflect business professionalism:

  • Use appropriate business language
  • Engage constructively, even in disagreement
  • Respect different perspectives and experiences
  • Focus on services and outcomes, not personal attributes

1.2 Honesty and Authenticity

  • Only claim experiences you've actually had

2. Prohibited Conduct

  • Threats: Threatening harm, violence, or legal action to silence criticism
  • Doxxing: Sharing private information about individuals without consent
  • Stalking: Following or monitoring someone across the platform

2.2 Discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination based on:

  • Race, ethnicity, or national origin
  • Religion or belief
  • Gender, gender identity, or expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Age
  • Disability
  • Veteran status

2.3 Fraud and Deception

Fraudulent activity is prohibited:

  • Fake reviews: Reviews not based on genuine experience
  • Review manipulation: Organizing campaigns to inflate or deflate ratings
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or organization
  • False claims: Making untrue statements about services or credentials
  • Astroturfing: Coordinated inauthentic behavior to appear organic

2.4 Spam and Self-Promotion

Keep contributions valuable:

  • Spam: Repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content
  • Excessive self-promotion: Using reviews or comments primarily for advertising
  • Link spam: Posting irrelevant links for traffic or SEO
  • Automation abuse: Using bots or scripts for unauthorized purposes

2.5 Illegal Activity

Do not use Web3Connect for:

  • Promoting or facilitating illegal activities
  • Money laundering or financial crimes
  • Sanctions evasion
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Content that violates applicable laws

3. Content Standards

3.1 Appropriate Content

All content should be:

  • Relevant to the Web3 industry and B2B services
  • Helpful to the community
  • Factual and supportable
  • Professional in tone

3.2 Inappropriate Content

The following content is prohibited:

  • Sexually explicit or adult content
  • Violent or graphic content
  • Content promoting self-harm or dangerous activities
  • Hate speech or extremist content
  • Content harmful to minors
  • Malware or malicious code

3.3 Intellectual Property

Respect intellectual property rights:

  • Only share content you have the right to share
  • Provide attribution when appropriate
  • Don't copy substantial portions of others' work
  • Report suspected IP violations

4. Partner Conduct

4.1 Partner Obligations

Registered Partners must:

  • Provide accurate information about their services
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain current contact and service information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not engage in unfair competitive practices

4.2 Prohibited Partner Practices

Partners may NOT:

  • Solicit reviews with conditional incentives (positive review required)
  • Threaten or retaliate against negative reviewers
  • Post fake reviews of themselves or competitors
  • Misrepresent their services, experience, or credentials
  • Engage in anti-competitive behavior

4.3 Responding to Reviews

When responding to reviews, Partners should:

  • Remain professional and constructive
  • Address specific concerns raised
  • Avoid defensive or hostile language
  • Take disputes offline when appropriate
  • Never threaten legal action to silence criticism

5. Enforcement

5.1 Enforcement Actions

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

6. Reporting Violations

  • On profiles: Use the "Report" link on the profile page

6.2 Report Handling

8. Changes to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as our community evolves. Changes will be:

  • Announced to registered users via email (for material changes)
  • Effective 30 days after posting (unless urgent)
