Smart Contract Security Audits

Vidma's audit process is structured across four phases: research, manual review, testing, and final report delivery.

Phase 1 – Research: Auditors study contract logic, expected behaviour, and technical documentation to establish auditing strategies before touching the code.

Phase 2 – Manual Audit: Two auditors simultaneously review the codebase line by line to identify security vulnerabilities, operational issues, and discrepancies with stated logic. Static analysis tooling supplements manual review. An interim audit report is issued, and the client makes fixes before the team proceeds.

Phase 3 – Testing: Vidma writes bespoke test suites from scratch targeting 95% code coverage, independent of any existing client tests. A second interim report documents newly discovered issues, and fixes are reviewed and retested.

Phase 4 – Final Report: A professionally designed PDF audit report is produced with full issue documentation, severity ratings, resolution status, and a proprietary audit score out of 100.

Ongoing Code Review

Vidma's Ongoing Code Review is a subscription-based service that embeds a dedicated security auditor directly into a client's development team for continuous, commit-by-commit security review throughout the software development lifecycle. Every time the client pushes a significant code change, the embedded auditor reviews it for security vulnerabilities, operational correctness, and gas optimisation. Clients are charged per line of code changed, making costs proportional to development activity. Each commit receives its own security report, and subscribers receive a 10% discount on any full Smart Contract Audit.
