Every end user on the Gnosis Pay network receives a Safe Smart Account (GP Safe) — a battle-tested smart contract wallet built on the Safe Protocol — deployed at the time of card onboarding. This architecture means users maintain full ownership and control of their funds at all times; assets are never custodied by the partner application or Gnosis Pay.
