Truebit's Dynamic Oracle infrastructure enables smart contracts to trigger arbitrary offchain computation and data retrieval with cryptographic verification at transaction time — requiring no pre-deployed oracle infrastructure. Unlike traditional oracle networks that rely on pre-configured data feeds, Truebit's approach lets developers specify JavaScript or TypeScript code and API calls directly within their transaction, giving smart contracts access to any external data source or computation result.

How It Works

Every oracle request is executed inside a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), producing a Certified Transcript — a human-readable, cryptographically signed record capturing what code ran, what data was returned, and full attestation data including enclave measurements and TLS session information. This eliminates the opacity problem inherent in traditional oracle designs.
