Protofire is one of the earliest blockchain engineering firms, building and operating production Web3 systems since 2016. We spun out of Altoros and have shipped through every market cycle since, delivering 250+ projects for 60+ networks and 95+ protocols. We maintain Solhint, the open-source Solidity linter and security tool used by more than a million developers, and we build directly within the Chainlink, Safe, The Graph, and Blockscout ecosystems.

What We Build and Operate

Smart contracts and security. Solidity development, protocol engineering, audits, and static analysis with Solhint. We have secured $2B+ in on-chain assets across 120+ networks, with zero vulnerabilities across delivered projects.

On-chain finance. Lending and borrowing markets, staking and yield vaults, stablecoin systems, and tokenized real-world assets, built on standards such as ERC-4626 and ERC-3643. This is the layer that captures liquidity and deepens token utility instead of leaving capital dormant.

Cross-chain and oracles. Chainlink price feeds and CCIP integrations, plus cross-chain messaging that moves liquidity and data between networks.

Data and indexing. Subgraphs and indexing on The Graph, so applications read chain state reliably at production scale.

Infrastructure in production. Nodes, block explorers (Blockscout), and Safe multisig and custody, run on cloud and bare metal for networks with heavy usage and non-EVM designs, including UTXO and multi-sharding models.

We build the on-chain products institutions launch under their own brand: embedded earn and yield, crypto-backed lending, own-brand vaults, tokenized treasuries, and stablecoin payment rails. We deliver them and then run them as managed on-chain operations. The team that ships your protocol is the same team that keeps it live, monitored, and solvent. Launch is day one.

Selected Work and Outcomes

We are trusted by teams including Aave, Balancer, Sky, and CoW Protocol, and have earned grants from ecosystems including the Ethereum Foundation, Optimism, and Aave. A few results that show what that work produces:

• Safe, official Guardian across 120+ networks. We deploy and maintain Safe as the branded, indexed custody standard chains need before DeFi teams and treasuries will commit capital. The networks we run secure $2B+ in TVL, with 200+ DeFi integrations wired in.

• Balancer ve8020 Launchpad. A reusable vote-escrow framework that cut ve setup from roughly 17 days to about 3, letting projects launch veToken economics in a fraction of the time.

• Aethir liquid staking. For the AI and DePIN network, we built a liquid staking module that issues stATH, so holders keep earning network rewards while their staked position stays liquid and usable across DeFi. Staked capital stops sitting idle.

• DIA oracle on Midnight. We ported DIA's oracle stack to Midnight in the Compact language and brought 25 price feeds live in 61 days, standing up data infrastructure on a privacy chain from scratch.

• Somnia oracle and explorer. A Chainlink-compatible oracle (OCR feeds, node cluster, and VRF) delivered in 92 days, plus a Blockscout explorer indexing up to 103M transactions a day on a high-throughput L1.

• Filecoin Glif infrastructure. We run Filecoin's public Glif RPC endpoint and CID Checker at 99.95%+ uptime, infrastructure the network's developers depend on daily.

• Swarm Markets. The first BaFin-regulated exchange for tokenized stocks and crypto, built as compliant multi-asset infrastructure.
